Puerto Varas

Puerto Varas is a city in the Lake District in southern Chile. It is located on the southwest bank of the extensive Llanquihue Lake, which offers stunning views of the Calbuco and Osorno volcanoes, covered with snow and still active. Traditional German style architecture characterizes the city and reflects its colonial past. The Church of the Sacred Heart of red and white colors was built at the beginning of the 20th century and has 3 striking towers.
