The calm waters of the nearly completely enclosed bay and the rugged landscape far east provide one of the most beautiful places of any provincial capital in Cuba, Cienfuegos, nestled on its eastern shores. The province’s main stronghold is the Trinidad Circuito Sur highway, much of which passes down the corridor between the picturesquely Caribean Coastline of this province and the Sierra del Escambray, where the cycling and waterfall paths of Parque El Nicho are the leafy routes.
