A number of other Cuban cities are full of beautiful old buildings, but Trinidad is a cobbled, traffic-free core with pastel-colored mansions, apartments, red-tiled rooftops and porticoes that put it on its own. The colonial pedestrianized area sounds like a community with people walking in an irregular speed and with neighbors talking from the entrance. But, with tourists constantly increasing, you will see an foreign face as a local person walking around the city.
