Alaska is separated from the rest of the country by Canada, reaching into the Arctic. It packs mountainous nature including the highest mountain in North America, Mount McKinley (or Denali). It is the largest state in the USA, far greater than the combined size of California, Texas and Montana. The territorial waters of the state touch the territorial waters of Russia in the Bering Strait. There are many active volcanoes, found in the Aleutians and coastal regions, as well as the final borders of America.
