A true paradise that is spread over hundreds of islands of the Pacific ocean is the Polynesia archipelago of Hawaii. Hawaii has been promoted as a tropical destination since the end of WW2 with its tropical climate, world famous untouched beaches, and rich natural scenery. The islands are also a major destination for international surfers; well-known spots include the Pipeline of Banzai, a break off the northern coast of Oahu. The indigenous Hawaiian culture still thrives and can be seen in ceremonies, traditions or folk music, despite the constant increase in the number of visitors.
